Day 3 - Lipari
Sail to Italy's volcanic Aeolian Islands, just off the north coast of Sicily, and visit the medieval town of Lipari, with its narrow winding streets offering a traditional taste of Italy. Enjoy a swim from the secluded beach in your free time on this tranquil island. In the evening, sail past the active volcano of Stromboli and watch for volcanic fireworks lighting up the night sky.

Day 4 - Messina
Messina is the third largest town in Sicily and is renowned for its stunning cathedral, Astronomical Clock and Neptune Fountain.Important for its position guarding the Straits of Messina, Messina bears the traces of many civilisations since the ancient Greeks, including the Romans, Byzantines, Arabs and Normans.

Day 5 - Amalfi
Arrive at Italy's stunning Amalfi Coast, where the Sorrentine peninsula meets the sparkling Tyrrhenian sea. Amalfi is the first port of call, with its backdrop of lemon and olive groves framing the pastel houses clinging to the cliff. The focal point of the historic center is the Piazza del Duomo, in front of the striking cathedral, an ideal spot for people-watching and boutique browsing. In the evening visit nearby Positano, said to be the most beautiful town in the Mediterranean.

Day 6 - Sorrento
Perched high on the clifftop overlooking the Bay of Naples, Sorrento is an amazing sight to approach from the sea. Delve into its historic, narrow streets and uncover a multitude of bars, restaurants, shops and the ever-present scent of lemons. Optional excursions might include taking a trip back in history to Pompeii, where the ashen remains of ancient Romans lie frozen in time, or the fashionable island of Capri.
