Explore the beautiful harbour town of Quepos and visit the Islas Tortugas which make up the Islas Negritos Biological Reserve, located off the Nicoya Peninsula.

Panama to Costa Rica Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Balboa (Panama)

  • Day 2 - San Jose Island

    San Jose Island is the second largest of the Pearl Islands, located 55 miles of the coast of Panama. San Jose Island is home to a vast array of flora and fauna including coconut palms and wild sugar cane. Wild pigs are often spotted on the island.

  • Day 3 - Iguana Island

    Iguana Island is a secluded paradise area, with white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. It is considered a wildlife refuge, inhabited only by rare birds, giant lizards and purple and red crabs. It also has one of the biggest areas of well-preserved coral reefs in the Gulf of Panama.

  • Day 4 - Coiba National Park

    Nestled off the Pacific coast of Panama, Coiba National Park boasts a rich tapestry of biodiversity within its azure waters and dense rainforest. This pristine sanctuary is a haven for marine life, including sharks, dolphins, and humpback whales, the park's coral reefs teem with vibrant fish species.

  • Day 5 - Golfito (Costa Rica)

    Golfito is nestled within a beautiful bay, and situated across from the Osa Peninsula on the Golfo Dulce. This sleepy port is the gateway to the breathtaking Golfito National Wildlife Reserve, home to an abundant of flora and fauna.

  • Day 6 - Quepos

    The beautiful harbour town of Quepos is renowned for its fishing as well as being the gateway to Manuel Antonio National Park, home to an array of flora and fauna.

  • Day 7 - Islas Tortugas

    Tortuga Island or Islas Tortugas is one of the islands which make up the Islas Negritos Biological Reserve, located off the Nicoya Peninsula.

  • Day 8 - Puerto Caldera
